Habitat For Humanity

One of our favorite community projects every year is Habitat For Humanity.  We never know from one year to the next whether we are going to be pouring cement, laying block, putting up siding, installing molding or what.  It is a new experience every year.  The Get It Straight Team willingly pitches in to do whatever needs to be done to complete the projects on the different homes scheduled for the day.

No matter how tired we are at the end of the day, there is a special feeling knowing we contributed in a small way to some well deserving family who will reap the benefits of the many group efforts to build their new home.
